James 2:17-18
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

@Columbkille @MichelCampillo "your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods." Society today promotes we are god of our life. We can fix our problems. We listen to politicians who promise to fix our lives. It's all a lie. The devil is a liar and he knows scripture. Oftentimes we have suffering which God uses to fix our lives but we do not recognize it. Suffering produces endurance and then character, but we want no part of it. If only we learn to let go and let God do His work in us.

Matthew 17:20
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

Romans 5:1-21
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
